If I could make a suggestion, check out the reviews of Canon and Sony products for their 8 megapixel and up cameras. In particular, consider the Sony the DSC-R1 (currently the best fixed lens digital camera money can buy).

Since you can list out the brands of the cameras, why don't you check out the official or distributor's websites of the brands. A better solution will be going to a camera specialised shop and check with the salesman if there is any models that suit your requirement. You need to experience the camera physically to understand the functions and capabilities before buying.

That's a pretty tall order. In fact, regardless of brand, only 3 cameras meet the criteria
* 8MP or better,
* 4x zoom or better,
* SD cards,
* hot shoe.

Canon PowerShot A630.

I know of no websites but if you're in the market for one, the Kodak EasyShare is an EXELLENT camera, especially for the price. Just ask my ***** ex-girlfriend.

Once you get past 5mp, I can't tell a difference to save my life. Good thing I'm not in danger right now eh??
