You may be a person that isn't afraid to voice your opinion on things, and that's perfectly ok. But, on the other hand, you have to respect the fact that not everyone thinks like you do and could possibly be offended by certain things you have to say, depending on the circumstances - Such as, how well did you know this guy before you went on your date? Were you friends before, or just starting to get to know one another? He may have been thrown off by the fact that you don't know him that well, but still felt comfortable voicing your opinion on his life. Also, it's all about your tone. How did it come across when you told him he was 'stuck in life'? It could have come across preachy, and that may scare some men off. But above all, I think your intentions were caring and meaningful and you were just offering your thoughts and being yourself. If he didn't like it, it's probably better that you both went your separate ways.

There was a reason. You told him the true right on his face. How would you like it if I tell you that you wear too much make up to cover your ugliness or some unsensitive crap like that. Men have feelings too. Perhaps you were right and he is heading nowhere but what made you think you saying it would improve anything? What did you think he would say? Oh well, no one has ever told me that, I guess since you are hot, I should change just for you.

You didnt do anything wrong, yet you didnt do anything right. Move on

The male ego is a very sensitive thing. Men do not like that! Especially in the begining of the relationship. You probably made him feel insecure. Better luck next time.

Well, gee, if you told me that I was a going no where looser I would have dumped you too. Sometimes being honest is just being hurtful.
