First, the pope was taken out of context deliberately. Second, the Islamic leadership has politicized the religion to indoctrinate non-muslims to the faith by intimidation. Pathetic really.

Well, not ALL of them react violently. It's a shame that the only reactions we see are the violent ones. It would be nice if the media also gave equal time to the Muslim "leaders" who reacted in a rational and objective manner.
I am Catholic and I was very disturbed by seeing the burning effigy of the Pope, and the fatwa declared by some Muslim clerics calling for the assassination of the Pope. What was most disturbing is the al-Queda reaction. They say "God will help us slit their throats" and "we will destroy the cross worshipers", but these are the animals who do not represent Islam as a whole. They have perverted what could be a very peaceful religion into a campaign to control the world with a religious book.
The Muslim media tends to depict the Iraq war as Christians vs. Islam, when in fact it is more like democracy vs. extremist regimes like al-Queda. Propoganda goes both ways. It's up to us to weigh the evidence and "facts" from both sides and find a reasonable truth.
PEACE!

You for sure understand no longer something approximately Islam so which you have lost any and all credibility. 2nd, Muslims have each good to be indignant. i'm Catholic and that i'm annoyed over this. i do no longer think of a nun ought to have been killed over this--homicide is misguided undeniable and easy, yet I do understand why Muslims worldwide huge are upset--with each good. 0.33, you are able to no longer say Islam is violent because of the strikes of the minority. Islam's greatest inhabitants is in Indonesia and you do no longer see them blowing up homes do you? Muslims interior the Arab worldwide have become all the attention and thats what anybody is basing their evaluations of Islam on. maximum Arabs are not even Islamic, some are Christian. however the media pals Islam with Arabs and terrorism so human beings think of that Muslims and Arabs are violent. Christians have not got a non violent historic previous that is going previous the Crusades or maybe today their palms nevertheless are not sparkling. How might Christians experience if a non secular parent referred to as Christian teachings evil and inhuman? of path they may well be upset yet historic previous does tutor that Christians have achieved violent issues too. So does that propose that Christians are a violent faith?
