Something demure. Dressing like you are going to a club won't impress them, they will think you are a trampy kind of girl. Even if you are, you want them to see you as a nice respectable girl. Otherwise, they may make it hard on you and your boyfriend.
Think about what you would wear around your grandparents or clergy. That should give you a rough guess.
Don'ts:
Low cut tops
Short (mid thigh or higher) skirts/shorts
Tight clothing
Ultra high heels (above 3")
Ultra low rise jeans/pants/shorts
If it's going to be a more casual dinner, then go for a more tailored look.

If it's going to be nicer, then stick with a fun and flirty look without going sexy.

If it's a formal event, then make sure that you aren't going with a prom or homecomming look. You want to be more consertative that that.

You want to dress your age without going too trendy or sexy. Sexy = easy to most parents.

Well...i think wear something upto date with fasion, a long dress with a little faminine frill at the bottom, or maybe a funky skirt with a girly top. The reason im saying this is coz u dont wanna come across all mature and uptight, you wanna look like you're genuinley interested and they should see why there son likes u.

It depends on where you are going for dinner and what kind of family it is. If you're eating KFC out of a bucket in their Double Wide, I'd say Jeans and their favorite Football teams' tee shirt. If they're southern traditional, I'd say a mid calf solid colored dress w/ pearls (fake). If they're tattoo clad hippies, I'd say go with ripped jeans and a tank. Also, if you're eating in a restaurant, wear what you'd wear on a date. You don't want to look TOO smug - it would help if you responded with where and what kind of family this outing encompasses.....

Wear something conservative; anything too tight, short, low-cut or otherwise revealing will make them uncomfortable and give them a poor impression of you. Make sure that what ever you choose to wear is clean, neat and tasteful. It doesn't have to be a dress or skirt, but that would probably be best.

Think classy! Choose something that is flattering on you, and not too sexy. Make sure whatever it is that you wear is comfortable, that way you can feel confident in how you look, because when we look good, we feel good. Relax and have a good time.

i think of that a intense high quality pair of denims of pants (no longer distressed or ripped!) with a intense high quality female pink impressive. no longer too lots makeup - purely a sprint & some intense high quality delicate rings. In different words - do no longer appear as if city bike!!!!
