dont hear anything for a couple of days after the date...does that mean he isnt interested??

The thing about these types of situations is it could be that both the parties are thinking the same thing, "is he interested?, should I call him, if I do maybe he'll think I'm desperate?, if he doesn't call me for a few days then it must only mean one thing", those are thoughts that consume us all and do you know what they are? Mere speculations, nothing else.
My advice is, call him and find out why he hasn't called, whether he is still interested cause you're interested in him. You definitely will get an answer and with the answer you can make a decision. Don't wait for him to call you, call him. Besides you had your first date how difficult can it be? Good luck.

No you shouldn't call him. Men like to do the pursuing, and let's face it we women like to play a little hard to get, it keeps the guys on their toes. If he hasn't called a couple of days after a first date, chances are he isn't going to.

Yeah, it usually does...
But my husband didn't call me for 2 1/2 weeks but that was because of his job.....which I didn't know and had already met someone else...in the end we were just meant to be...
give him a few days if you don't hear from him move on...it was only one date.... if it was meant to be he'll eventually call...but don't wait around...

well nowadays the guys like for u to call maybe he is sitting there thinking the same thing go ahead and call if he picks up and glad to hear from u set up another date if dont pick up or says he is busy forget the # and find someone else

Hey personally i feel times have changed, i have no issues about calling up guys after the first date, it doesnt mean so much. But hey thats me, coz i always remain very good friends with all my ex's, i even hook them up with new girlfriends.

Not interested enough. He may like you enough to talk to you if you call, see you, even sleep with you. But if he isn't interested enough to put out any effort or stick his own neck out to let you know he's interested...move along!

omg not to be ignerant what is the big deal call i mean people are soooooo immature gotta wait to call. if you want to know call him leave a message if he doesnt answer and if he doesnt return youre call, call it quits.
