As i get older time goes by faster for me. Each year seems to fly by quicker.

I think speed is relative to your perception. If you are tired, or waiting for something important, for instance, a day or moment will go slower. If you are hyper or busy and not paying attention time will go faster. And as you get older time seems to speed up. You have more responsibilities and more things to keep you busy, thus it seems to go faster. It's not that time itself has sped up.

Even if one believes that time is actually a dimension, it still does not speed up or slow down, it is mearly a place where one exsists and things happen in a sequence.

usually when something happens that you enjoy time "flys" faster and when you dread something it slow down. urgh i hate irony remember when you were young and you couldn't sleep before Christmas or your birthday and when you look at the clock only 5 minutes went by but it felt like 5 hours. ahhh good times good times

Sometimes time does seem to go faster but then again it also sometimes seems to go slower,I think it depends on the circumstances of each day.

Time is constant... its your perception of time that changes.

Think of the sayings "times flies when youre having fun" and "a watched pot never boils".

If you are actively taking note of the time it can seem longer than it really is.
