No gold in China is a hypothesis that can be, as someone demonstrated, tested for validity. You can't equate its denial to denial of a deity.

You are entitled to believe as you like. I have no qualms with that. But if you think that religion is a silly waste of time, then perhaps you need to better explain why you think it is a silly waste of time. I could easily say that atheism doesn't make sense, but unless I offer reasoning as to why it doesn't make sense then it does me and anybody else little good.

I personally don’t have anything against atheists per se, but think that atheism is a position that leaves more questions than answers. Atheism forces one to take a naturalist view or metaphysics and an empiricist view of epistemology. Both of these views say that we can know nothing apart from what we can observe can learn through experience. Experience doesn't guarantee that what we learn is truth. The question is then raised, then, "how can we know anything at all?" In the atheist worldview, they only logical answers is that we can't.

Second, atheism has to embrace naturalism, and thus makes everything the result of random cosmological accidents. This means that nothing has more intrinsic value than the matter and energy that make up what ever is in question. The only value of love is the chemical process in the brain. Murder can't be wrong because it is hardly more than a chemical reaction in the brain.

Because of such things, I find atheism to be rather empty. So I really pity atheists. I just don't understand how one could live life that way.

I don't believe in athieist. by definition an atheist is "one who denies the existance of God." that is to say that they make the claim that there is no god. But to make a claim like that, one would need to know everything that there is to know in the universe.

To say that there is no god is like saying that there is no gold in China. For that statement to be true one would have to go to China and look under every rock, and house, check people's jewlery, and even look inside of every persons mouth there to make sure there is no gold in China for that claim to be true.

Now, to say that there is a god is like saying that there "is" gold in china. And all I gotta do is go there, see a gold watch on a person's wrist, and I can say that there is gold in china.

Atheists break my heart. They've chosen to believe Satan's lies (whether they believe in him or not). And I pray for atheists. That they will open their hearts and minds to God. That they will see how much He will bring to their lives. God loves you so much that He sent His only son to die for your sins (and mine). Maybe if you could separate religion from faith. I am a Christian, but I don't practice any particular religion (Catholic, Protestant). I love God! He has given me the strength to get through some incredibly difficult times in my life. I cannot imagine not having faith. I don't know how you manage not having someone so strong and loving to turn to who will NEVER let you down. I'll pray for you. God bless!

Great,

I think atheist are human, have their own views on life. They sleep, eat, drink, lie, steal, rob, hate, love, get sick, bones can be broken. Atheists are happy, sad, smart, dum, stupid, inteligent, great, small, little, big, fat. Atheist love, hate, cry, laugh.... should I go on.

Asking what do I think of atheists is like asking what I think of people. They are all different. I respect their right to believe in what they see fit.
