Pepe le Pew was a very cheesy skunk on Looney Tunes cartoons who was a sexist, womanizing, pushy, overzealous, suffocating jerk who wouldn't take "no" for an answer. So loose translation: a soon-to-be rapist or a pushy wanna-be Cassanova.

He was a skunk in old cartoons, and they had him dressed and talking like what was once the stereotype of a French guy, who was smooth with the ladies. He had a French accent, wore a beret, and - if I remember correctly - he had a kind of Salvatore Dahli (sp?) mustache.

From that french cartoon skunk in warner bros. You know suave (well thinks he is) over enthusiastic with the love thing and trying to get a person to "smooch" with.
