Next time they say, I will pray for you." tell them you will think for them.
They hate it.

For the record, I am not a believer. However...
Maybe they reported you, then prayed for you. I'm not defending them, just saying. That might be it. They felt you were in violation of the rules. Again, not defending them, not agreeing with them. Actually, I really don't think you should be reported, for that. But they took the course of action they felt was appropriate. The concept doesn't mean they have to ignore what they feel is inappropriate. You can turn someone in to the cops for robbing a bank, and still pray that they will see the error of their ways.
Heh. Some of you people, crying "hypocrite"...so that's pretty much a learned reaction, for you, huh? Give it a rest. You think no more freely or independently than those you criticize.
As for the people who are calling the asker rude...and the original question itself wasn't of the same nature (arrogant and disrespectful), toward unbelievers? They weren't taking the "I know it all, I have all the answers" attitude? Yes, I'm sorry, they were. Especially by doing it on a public forum of no specific religious affiliation.

I imagine the reporter interpreted your logic as a put down: "misguided"!!. It is better to do a double check and say it to yourself first and see you can take a dose of it.
It's like saying wow I never would of thought you were that tall!
You knew it was meant as a compliment however if you were suffering from gigantism and know you may only live to 30 because of the history of an undersized heart than you become hurt, right!!
I don't know... only that it takes all kinds of people and you never know who the audience is.

A believer, as you put it, may indeed pray for you, but that doesn't mean he/she has to also then put up with insults or ridicule. A believer doesn't believe he/she is either misguided or a child, and it is simply not your place to say otherwise.

Some people on YA! want others to lose their faith. I have no idea why someone would be so horrible as to pray that another who is happy loses their beliefs but here in R&S it seems to be common.
These same people don't take kindly to the same. If you hoped they lost their faith, it's in insult. When they do it, it's saving souls.
It makes no sense to me either. Maybe they're a little crazy.

Hahaha. Christians aren't perfect. They're just like cops, you've got your good ones and your bad ones. Some are more immature than a lot of non-christians, while some find growth in their faith. Just let them be and make your own decisions.

I really don't know why someone would tell you that you were misguided when you asked for us to pray for the unbelievers. I pray for them everyday.

Don't know, I didn't report you. I think you have a right to that opinion. I don't agree with it, but you do have the right to it.
