Except humans all other creatures on this earth, hunt for what they want for the day, accomodate themselves with nature, with no bother of God, Religion, Past life, future life, family, inheritance etc. etc. etc. Isn't this a lesson for all humans to learn from.

Are we using the so called additional sense (compared to other creatures) only for our destructions ?

Why can't we learn from other creatures, which also undergoes all love, struggle, birth/death as we do. Yet when they leave (die) they do so without damaging the planet they lived and also their kith & kin. I have never heard of other creatures who pray and practice a religion.

Coz we are made to be like God with self-awareness & knowledge of good & evil.

The Omnipotence of God doesn't mean that God can do everything in general, but means that God can do everything what is possible to be done. For instance, God cannot change the rule 1+1=2. There is a war between the good and the evil. God has not a choice: the wicked souls must be destroyed in an eternal hell, otherwise the whole World would become some kind of an eternal hell.

I manage to live perfectly well "without the bother of God".
This doesn't mean I don't recognise the universe and all that's in it as amazing (if there is only one that is)
There are lots of faiths and beliefs that help people live in harmony with their environment and others. Not all of them do though. Humans have adapted in ways that may make them stand out but the bottom line is all living creatures are remarkable - life itself is remarkable.
We're not the dominant species, there are far more insects on this planet than humans - and if you stood all alone with some buffalo and they felt threatened... well I know who I'd think was dominating that situation.
We may prevail, let's hope we do, but if the environment becomes too hostile nothing will help us - and we'll go the same way as millions of species before us, at present and still to come.

It has to do with the level of awareness between animal and human behaviour. Animals act on instinct; they know when to eat, when to sleep, when to run from danger, etc. They don't transcend that behaviour. Humans have the ability to reason and act on their own will. Does that really make humans smarter than animals? Not at all. Humans have learned much from observing animal behaviour. We have learned ways to cure many illnesses. Since they have the ability to reason, humans developed a need to know what created the world, and therefore have created many myths in an attempt to explain the beginning and the meaning if life. Aminals don't have that level of thinking. They don't think about the past or future--they remain in the present moment.

As the French writer Albert Camus once wrote: Man is the only living creature that refuses to be what he really is.

Because we have developed brains and logic but still our brain does not have power to know God and other mysteries. Who he is. How were we born. how did the universe come into being. What happens after we die. Which is the true religion or all the three God's religions are true. Its hard to use logic but I have a feeling that there is God. A lot of times when I pray, sometimes they are answered soon and strangely.

While I appreciate your enthusiasm about the animals, I think your view skews humans in a bad light. I agree we humans take excessively from the planet but that doesnt mean other animals dont. We may not be used to think so but infectious bacteria and other diseases are thriving as a species at the expense of human and animal lives. foreign plants take over the environment because they have no natural predator. Point is, even animals give and take from the planet, just not in the moral sense that we humans put it.

To the first post: cockroaches outweigh us on the planet.
Algae cover the majority of the ocean, which is 3/4 of the earth.
bacteria can live in the most extreme conditions.
As far as compassion goes..the male praying mantis sacrifices himself for food to his mate as they are mating. Thats compassion lol.

We are successful only in our own niche.

Human birth comes after 84 lac births in the universe and is therefore THE TOP OF THE CREATION. In other births , the beings can't achieve salvation. Only in this birth can a soul think, meditate, and go within -The LIVING TEMPLE OF GOD to be away from this cycle of life and death!

Its based on language, really. Humans are able to communicate rationally using complex syntax to exchange and store information. Knowing so much about other people and about the past will naturally lead to curious questions about the world around us, thus providing the niche for religion and beleif.

Religiously, Muslims beleive that no organisms were given the free-will that humans have to make decisions. Animals and plants "naturally" submit to God, similar to angels, thus making their need of religion invalid. Humans are given a free-will to choose whether to follow in God's path or not and to think carefully about it.

Humans are the creator of GOD/ religion and have propagated the opposite to make the requirement of GOD/ religion felt in order to achieve certain material and other gains, sometimes with good intentions also.
Other creatures do not create anything, which they consume themselves.

Other creatures do not have consciousness of themselves...they do not "love" or "hate", but they do not think about their own existences. Because humans DO think about themselves, they question why they are alive--unlike bees who will all die for their queen--and they want to believe that there is some sort of "plan" to their existence.

Granted we do much damage to the earth, but maybe it will all turn out well in the end. And, if we kill off all life, who will be here to mourn or suffer???

edit: How did I get a "thumbs down" when I agree with Ryan....?

Excellent point. You know what else we can learn from other creatures, not to hate other species or types. Humans seem to be the only animal on this planet that has racism as a way of life. I don't recall seeing on Discovery that light colored lions hung or near killed off the darker shades of lions just because they were of different colors. You are 100% correct in pointing out such thing as the religion factor. It goes to show that we don't need religion to get along in this life or to have a great life, all we need is common respect for each other and we'll co-exist excellently.
