By far Bangkok, it is bigger and has much the same as Singapore except not as clean as the streets of Singapore.

Bangkok is an adventure for kids, take them to river boat, round the old shanty house watch the snake farm and zoo in one place. See the fish feeding even go down the Khao San Road lots of travelers and stuff for both adult and kids alike...

Singapore is adult shopping not for kids much and Santosa is they say a Disney but it is very expensive with no where near the same effect (Bangkok has dream world again nowhere near the same effect but alot cheaper)

I have not been to Singapore but, it's an island. Bangkok and the surrounding area there is a lot to do. There are bike tours for like USD 20 per person, the company provides the bikes. They ride to the other side of the Chao Phraya river. River tours, as mentioned previously. There are plenty of temples, parks, shopping malls, an aquarium, a zoo, Snake farm, water park and a amusement park in Bangkok. In Pattaya about 2 hours by car or taxi for about USD 40, they have horse back riding, beach, go karting, paint ball parks, wind surfing, etc. And adult activities. LOL

Check www.asiarooms.com for good room prices.
Check www.bangkok.com for further information.

Have a good trip.

I think it would be better to choose bangkok. In bangkok you would enjoy the scenery of green fields, great mountains, gorgeus elephants and beautiful beaches. i believe your kids will have a great time. If you go to singapore you will only see buildings, cars and busy people walking. It is not fit for a vacation.

well, thailand yes, for the reasons mentioned in the first post - but not bangkok as a city per se. You'll need to get to the jungle and/or the beaches.

Singapore has a lot of things for younger kids - a nice zoo and bird park, for example. But beyond that, it becomes pretty boring pretty fast.

Bangkok - it is bigger and you can have more activities. Of course, it is when the situation is better.
