You, my dear, are nothing but a challenge. By simply saying, "back off"; you have simply opened the floodgates of testosterone. We must prove that we are equally up to the challenge to prove to you that you will finally give in, and say "yes".
At which point, we probably get too excited and soil our pants. In which case we turn and walk away as quickly as possible. Never to be seen again. <---- Ok that part may not be true.

Nope. Backing off would reverse the testerone warp factor connected to the neo-caveman Tarzan Jane reflex. We are required by the elusive x factor to believe upon pain of eunicism that we are God's gift to women - all and /or 1 in particular. The thrill of the hunt, the chase, the capture, the victory, the blood curdling dance of triumph and similar such remnants from the time we stalked the earth with front limbs on the ground are usually irreversible. Marriage can redirect this phenomenon most of the time. A good looking babe likes you re-ignites whatever dampers time may have put on the raging fires within.
Thus, while back off does not work, sometimes a squirt of Bug Off available at most hardware stores works wonders.

I'm going to take a guess and assume that you're just a really nice person and that your rejections seem so nice that men read into them as meaning something more. I know it's hard to be mean when you reject someone, but if they keep coming back, you just need to grit your teeth and tell them to BACK OFF!! Hah. Well, I sure hope these guys get a clue :)

Men think that if you are attatched that they can get a piece of *** from you and not worry about a relationship. It is SAFE for them to hit on you if all they want is sex, plus I think guys totally get off on the idea of getting some from a married person. (fantasy) And because some people just like the thought of competing (the big win) Just feel sorry for them all!! Poor little boys!! HA

Believe me. I am one of the guys who respects a woman who's in a relationship. But for many guys, they see women telling them "No" as a way of playing hard-to-get. It's like when a woman wears a ring on her ring finger even if she's single just to avoid getting hit on. Do guys pay attention to that? No. Guys almost need to be threatened before backing off. I'm sorry you experience this. I wish most of my gender were nicer, but then guys like me would be a dime a dozen. :-)

Men like the challenge and for some reason when a woman is hot, they relate it to being easy. I think because advertisements portray attractive women in this way. Eat some donuts. They'll stop,

i know what you mean. i get the same thing all the time. but don't forget that they are males and only hear what they want to hear so if you say i'm in a relationship then they hear i'll come over when my partner is asleep. or if you say i'm too busy go away then they hear come on over i have all the time in the world.
it's common knowledge that guys just simply don't listen

There was just a girl a while ago asking for advice on game playing, thinking that she should play hard to get.
You need to look at your own selves, often.
While it's true that most men are pigs, women are hypocritical at times.

I completelly understand what you mean, that happens to me a lot. Men can't resist girls like us... they just can't. We have to get used to it.
By the way, you look gorgeous...maybe that's why guys don't want to back off. Take care
