The word is "pies" (pee-es)
That is the word for human feet.
Animal's feet are "patas" (pah-tahs) If someone tells you to move your patas,then they just insulted you.

For both the ones we walk on and the unit of measurement---foot= pie, feet = pies.

Animals feet and paws are called patas the singular being pata.

It depends on who your talking to, if your talking to a mexican, or someone speaking spanish outside of spain than the spanish word for
foot is "patata"
and feet "patatas"
the feet "los patatas"
the foot "la patata"

"Pies" is feet. "Piernas" is legs. I have never heard of "patata", so I'm afraid that it might not be a common word. At least "pies" is the more standard word. "Pata" is a word that means leg, but is only used for the leg of an animal.
