Nathan's are awfully good....but my favorite are the Vienna Beef dogs from Chicago.
Good luck!
(Although...if I were going to run a hot dog cart in a tourist town in Alaska, I think I'd try to have something a little more "Alaska" specific. Maybe moose hot dogs? I think there'd be more appeal for the tourists. You don't go all the way to Alaska to get something you can get on Coney Island.)

Hebrew National is by far the best tasting brand that is economical.
Think about how and why Costco serves them.

Your bigger challenge will be finding a distributor of hot dogs, buns, carts etc in Alaska from which you can make a profit.

Don't forget polish sausage, on a crusty roll! They are the best!
There was a hot dog cart outside my work in Anchorage, AK that sold polish sausages (before they shut down) and they were delicious. You also might want to consider reindeer sausage (an Alaskan favorite) or soups (in the colder months).
Hope this helps!

I purely study the variety of solutions to this question. all different suggestions and evaluations teach that it extremely is a controversy of flavor. i like SCHNEIDERS ALL pork warm canines( The fatter ones from Sam's club. Boil them. Have a sturdy clean warm canines Bun positioned out your many times occurring dressings--Ketchup-mustard-savor and a few extra scrumptious specific fillings that are very own flavor products like dill pickles-chopped onions-tomatoes and so on. chilly soda beverages with ice and doubtless a coleslaw or potato salad. What a great thank you to have a warm canines.

The best ones are the "death dogs" outside of the 9-0 near USC. Yumm. they are rapped in bacon. Also, the ones outside of the clubs in hollywood. Those are the best! dont know what brand they use....maybe its the drunkenness that makes them taste so damn good. Whatever you do, offer some rapped in bacon!

My absolute favorite are Eisenberg hotdogs! They are super tasty! Plus, you can order them for your hot dog cart. They'll even give you promotional signs, banners, and even recipies. Make lots of $$$!! Good luck!

Smart Dogs. They're tofu but they're wonderful if you put Chili Man chili on them. Yum! They're much better for you too.

But I doubt you'll bother to sell those at a hot dog cart.
