If you are a teenager in high school, then yes. Being a full time student plus a full time job doesn't leave enough hours for homework and studying. The chores are minor, you aren't being asked to do that much.
If you a part time student and/or over 18, then they are not asking that much of you. You aren't having to pay rent, bills, medical and other insurance, and food so all they are doing is asking you to take care of your own expenses and help around the house.
They are just trying to teach you some responsibility, life in the real world on your own will be twice as hard. They are trying to prepare you for it.

If you are working at a full time job, you are making enough to pay for these things. Be thankful they aren't asking you to pay rent, half the utilities and for your food!! They are trying to teach you to be responsible.
As for the cleaning, I think that's reasonable. You have to do your share of the household chores. You do live there. You have to take responsibility for that as well. When you get your own place some day, you'll have ALL the bills to pay, and ALL the cleaning to do. They ARE NOT asking too much.

No, they are teaching you responsibility. Trust me...it will help later when you work 40 or more hours a week come home pick up after yourself, your husband, and your kids...try to do night classes and then find time for yourself...it is great practice. I wish that was all i had to do when I lived with my parents.

What? No rent?
No. They aren't expecting too much. it's YOUR car, YOU use the gas, so that YOU can have a measure of independance.
If you don't like it, rent your own place, and then you will be able to do ALL that and cook for yourself, buy groceries, pay utilities, mediical and car insurance, renters insurance, TV cable, phones, . . . .should I go on?
Think about what they did for you all these years without complaint!

Your parents are teaching you how to be responsible for yourself. Would you rather not have a car or clothes?
Welcome to the real world, my friend... life isn't handed to you on a silver platter.

If you are over 18, then they aren't asking too much, and feel free to move out. If you are under 18 and still in high school, that is a darn heavy load they have you carrying.

How much do they work?
They need to give some some much needed time off, and maybe some financial assistance.
