Yes I am a muslim and I am not a terrorist. Most muslims and also Christians I think love peace and want to love and help each others.Do not generalize a few bad doing of each folower.I know a few of Christians be a terrorist but I do not tell/claim that all Christians terorists. In each religion has a bad and misled followers, but most of us have love and no hate in our hearts.
Let us enforce a peaceful life in this world. We live here only in a short time.So we must getting as many as possible good doings for our victuals in the etenal life after our deaths.

I actually don't know... but i did read an article not long after 9/11 by a muslim leader who said it was natural for people to have a fear of muslims at the time because while not all mulims are terrorists, a lot of terrorists happen to be muslims.

I agree what you say is true. What is getting all the attention is the Islamic leadership and violence imposed upon Christians including the murder of a nun. So, what you are witnessing is the disgust or rightious hatred for injustice being perpetrated by Muslims. God help us all and everyone should be praying for peace. Remember, it is Christ who taught us to pray for our enemies and to do good to those who persecute you. Hopefully, Chistian principles will shine in a world of darkness. God bless you for asking this question.

I agree with you. And we might note that not all terrorists are Muslims. The Klan was once a rampant terrorist organization perverting Christianity to justify their hate. (Still perverting, not as rampant.)
It would be good for us to show support for those Muslims calling for a reformation of Islam, to bring it out of it's barbaric past and into a civilized community. It takes a lot of courage for them to stand up to the hard-line extremists, after all, we've all seen what they are capable of. Putting them all down and stereotyping only makes it harder for them to bring about change.

I think it is because people tend to forget their own history. In the name of Judaism prophets were slain. In the name of Christianity thousands were killed in the crusades and even more in the spanish inquisition. This is not to say anything negative about either of there religions, just to note that all faiths have had people commit unspeakable acts in its name. That does not mean that these people define the faith.

I agree. We should love one another. But I don't know how much sympathy God has for people who don't believe in Him, so I'm willing to take the risk in standing up for my faith when someone knocks mine in the name of their false god. It's called "righteous anger".
And yes, I do have Muslim friends. They're also American citizens, so I'm fairly certain they're not going to go on an American murder spree, either. They're more disgusted by the actions of the extremist muslims than anyone.

Have you read the Koran? I'll be the first to admit I've not read it in the original Arabic, but I've read the three primary english interpretations of it. Any muslim who does not have a sword ready to kill the infidels who do not convert or pay jizya are bad muslims according to the koran.
Frankly dear, Christians aren't much better historically, they're just less apt to use the sword in modern days.
Religion is Evil. Islam is only the most pressingly Evil of them at the time.

You have a very good point. Its a self perpetuating hatred.
I just wish more Muslims, including the ones I know personally, were more vocal about the artocities of terrorists.
