Fellow Muslims, why not stop the nonsense ?

OK, some cartoonist in Denmark draws a picture about the prophet saying Islam is violent. Muslims worldwide respond by violence.

Then the Pope makes a statement (taken out of context I may add) which implies that our religion has a violent past. How does the Ummah respond ? With violence.

This madness must stop. The two violent sects of Islam (Sunni and Shia) are destroying the religion of the prophet. There are sects out there (Sufi and my own sect, the Zaidiyyah sect of Yemen) which understand peace, violence and tolerance, but we are in the minority. Do not believe Sunnis and Shiites who claim to be tolerant "moderate" Muslims. They do not exist.

Protesting is the in the nature of the human beings. Talking against the jewish holocaust, will bring a huge protest from the jewish community,and people will be labeled anti semite. When Muslims hear about the false accusation and blasphemous remarks against the founder of the islamic religion, and especially when the false remarks are uttered by the spiritual leader of christians, the protest by the Muslims is a natural out come. Some protester go further and become violent as an individual, but Islam never teaches violence.
This act of violence by an individual, then becomes a propaganda tool in the hands of the media or oponent of islam to further their cause.

YES ! The violence must stop, But Muslim or any other minorities has their own pride with them self. They all are proud of their religion , language and the culture. They have their own rights to keep them and follow them. No one have rights to criticize their mother nature. When a majority people learn to treat minorities with same equal rights and status then only the world will be fill with peace and pretty.
But it's ever gonna happen. Because majority people still don't get mature to treat others as same also minority people don't know how to rip off their complex and whole world's politics never gonna allow those two part to get settle with each other.

Frankly I am amazed , I never thought I would see the day when people who I am told are women and who come from countries which have never even visited the upper part of the Northern Hemisphere , walk British streets wearing a full body covering disguise and call themselves "British".Meanwhile other Muslims threaten us on our streets, gun and knife crime appears daily in the news and schoolchildren are joining gangs for protection against what is now commonly known as "The Asian Invasion" They come as a workforce , invited by expense cheat politicians to make a bigger workforce so British MPs can be big shots in a G8 country. They do not help the indigenous British like myself, in fact all we get is overcrowding and no increase in living standards. I am indigenous British and my claim is outlined by the National Geographic scientific article below, indigenous does not mean aboriginal, it means we are Europeans who arrived in small numbers over 1000s of years, not masses of desert and tropical foreigners who are ruining our beautiful country.They should get it into their heads that some of us are trying to preserve our old Northern European community and we do not wish to be a northern version of a 3rd World country I do not hate any race or nationality; however I will not allow my country to be given away to millions of people from failed African and Asian countries, just because expense cheat politicians want a bigger workforce Omedion - 100 Percent British Yes we have changed very little in 1000s of years and you are an indigenous Briton, people like tropical Nazeem below will alter Britain for the first time in Millenia, it is a disaster but he will never be British. You my friend, are one of the sensible guys in the modern day world. I wish the others in your religion would think on the same lines... We do not need violence, protests and demonstrations to make a point. Suicide bombings, terrorism, killngs, beheadings and burning of effigies just spell out ignorance. But do you think that the radicals and extremists will ever change their way of thinking and accept a civilized way of sorting out things? That is the question that we need to ask.
