I can answer that with an unequivocal, resounding, firm "NO"! When that happens, the job performance of the two who are involved with each other is usually compromised. When things are going well, you can't focus because you are thinking about him/her. When things are going badly, you can't focus because you are hurt, and having to face that person daily. Also, it is hard to work together ESPECIALLY if one of them is the other's supervisor. They take it for granted that if they do something wrong, the other person will cover for them. Or if the supervisor has to write the person up, or give a direct order, the other person doesn't usually take it seriously. It just doesn't work.....and THEN what happens if things don't work out? They end up having a disagreement on the job, and one or the other will end up leaving the job because they cannot or do not WANT to face the other person. I've seen this about 50 times.....not one time have I ever seen it work out.

I answered a question like this earlier. I dated a co-worker and we were very much in love. However, it ended eventually and it was so tense at work that he quit his job. I want to say I have never forgotten him and never regretted the time I spend with him. He was a wonderful person and I will always have a warm spot in my heart for him. So, you have to decide this for yourself. Keep in mind though that it might end and things will be bad at work.

It depends entirely on company policy. Some (perhaps many) companies and firms actually have a policy that forbids co-workers from dating.

It depends. Did that done that. It became awkward when I did not want to be bother with him and I still seen him at work. But I also dated someone at work and we got married. Anything possible, it depends on the person.

If your past relationships broke up amicably, then it can work out. I wouldn't do it if I worked closely with the person all day, tho.

In such a relationship now... hard. especially if you have interactions in your work area.
But it all depend on the individual.. We try not to talk about work related issues after work.

Best not to, unless you just can't resist keeping your hands off each other. Then one or the other should get another job.
