If you are smoking and an animal breathes it in does it risk their chance of getting lung cancer, heart disiese or any other illness that humans can get from second hand smoke ?

I would certainly think so. I'd also wager that a lot of the research testing on second hand smoke was done on animals as well.

I don't know if any studies have been done on the subject. But if you've ever noticed the reaction a dog or a cat gives you when you blow cigarette smoke into their faces- I strongly suspect they would say, "Man, I wish you'd quit. -This secondhand smoke is killing us..." Let's face it, they have to breathe-too.

Of course ,but domestic animals do not normally live as long as their owners so that the diseases do not have time to develop

If you mean can it coat their lungs with tar just like humans and cause similar effects???? YES, If its you, please be kind and smoke outside, they don't have a choice, you do.
