Acquired taste! Plus it depends on the beer!
Guiness GOOD
Bush Light BAD!!
Killians GOOD
Pabst Blue Ribbon BAD
Murphy's GOOD
Blue Moon BAD!! (things shouldn't float in your beer)

It still tastes bad to me, and I'm probably older than you. Maybe once you've drunk enough of it in a short space of time, it kills the sensitivity of your taste buds and you're now responding to the drinker's urge, rather than to its actual taste. Now, why do I like brussels sprouts now when I hated them as a kid? Who knows? I certainly don't eat enough of them to desensitize my taste buds....

Your tastebuds change as you get older. Some foods that you wouldn't eat as a kid taste good to you now I'm sure.

Your taste buds have matured. That's why you should wait till you are of legal age to drink.
