Yes, they have shown their true colors and they want to take over the world and kill everybody that doesn't go along with them. You, your family and everyone you love, and everybody the same way, this so-called "religion of peace."

Islamic extremists are idiots, but so are fundamentalists of any monotheistic religion (Christian, Jewish, etc).

Beliefs in general are what get people killed. Go out and buy "The End of Faith" by Sam Harris for a explanation why. It covers Islamic violence pretty thoroughly, but he doesn't hold back on the other major religions either. It's a must read for the everyone in my opinion. Reading will make you more intelligent.

Benedict called Islam a religion spread by the sword. Funny he should say that considering Christianity was also spread by the sword long ago. This is why it's so wide spread today. You may also want to pick up, "The Dark Side of Christian History" by Helen Ellerbe.

The Islamic world? What's wrong with Pope Benedict? He made nasty remarks on the Islamic people, of course they are going to protest. But if you actually read the entire article (which I assume you did not), you'll see that religious leaders of both Christianity and Islam are going to meet up and explain the pope's remarks. I'd say it's more the pope's fault then anything. People are naturally going to get angry, but the pope made a choice to say these things. Do you not think the pope is just as at fault as the Islamic people are right now? He did say he was sorry though, but he still said it, and perhaps the muslims will tone down after this congregation of religious leaders.

Much of the Islamic world is truely brainwashed. It is taught to the children from a very young age to hate. These teachings come from the clerics and the government in order to have greater control and power over their people. The people of these nations are puppets of the government without even knowing it.

how is it you to judge?? over the ages, people misconstrue words and turn them into words they feel are (insultingly) directed towards them, in this case the Pope with his speech and mentioning of the Prophet. Wat would you feel if an Islamic leader said sort of the same things with any other religion's god/leader included in their speech? even if it's a quote?
I agree that calling war against Christianity or any religion for that matter is too much, but before 911, Islam was never an issue linked to chaos. The problem here does not lie with Islam. It is misunderstood. As President Bush declared war against terrorism, he asked for help from around the world without stepping down his ego and made a mistake as though he was threatening the world to join forces with him. Those that didn't want to get involved in his war against terrorism were labelled as his "enemies". And since his war was mainly on poor Islamic territories where the terrorists hide - 1st with Afghanistan, then Iraq, many viewed this as a sort of a war against Islam...put in simple terms, if someone bullies you or your brother or sister, you would feel bad not doing anything to help.

Don't misunderstand Islam, love thy neighbor as yourself.

Why do you accuse muslims?Muslims are the victims of Pope's statement.He does not make a loveful speech but oppositely contains hatred to muslims.He has a wrong picture of muslims with its Islamic teaching.He is not stated a fact .Can you show the facts that muslims killed non believers or non muslim without a strong reason only for spreading Islam ?Muslims killed non muslims because they were attacked firstly..In that war was only two possibilities to kill or to be killed

Yep...the Pope only quoted a Fourteenth Century Monarch and stated that using violence to convert religions is wrong. And now Muslims everywhere ae rattling their sabres. I am have doubted that Islam is a peaceful religion, now I know that it is not.
