The other side is gonna love me for this, but Cheech Marin is a member of MENSA and the all-time scorer on celebrity "Jeopardy". He also has cred as an art historian. On the other hand, Tommy Chong once took out ads in "Penthouse" to sell a product called "Urine Luck", which was nothing more than freeze dried pee-pee with no traces of drugs. Hispanic people are OK. Illegal people are moocher bums.

Black comedians do a lot of black jokes but they aren't racist bigots. So Cheech isn't a racist.

My best friend and I thought we would write something meaningful about the illegal Mexicans in this country. If you don't have a sense of humor, don't read it. well i believe that it is racist thoguh its used in a light humurous way and isnt ment to hurt anyone they dont truley hate who they are making fun of they are just messing around
they arent even comparable to say the klu klux klan because the klu klux klan is a hateful racist group and cheech and chong (i suppose as with most comedians) are just messing around and dont really mean anything by it even though it has a racist type slanter to it

Everyone is racist... The people who are first to call anyone else out on it are usually the worst ones, only they do it in that all too familiar politically correct kind of way that is socially acceptable.
Everyone believes in their own superiority and that of their own kind. Even if they don't outwardly admit it.
Cheech and chong were not just racist/or not racist... they were ironically and stereotypically funny. Big deal... so was Richard Pryor. They were ALL funny BECAUSE they were not afraid to speak their minds and they honestly observed their lives and enviornment. Lighten up...

They are comedians..... they make fun of everyone.... What's more, even those being made fun of can laugh at the poke.... WHY? because they use the truth to poke fun.... only a racist would take offense...
