On Saturday night, I went to a house party with a couple of friends where I met a guy. Initially, I'll admit it, I wasn't really trying to talk to him. But he was really friendly, so I decided to give him a chance. Long story short, we ended up talking for about two hours.

We exchanged phone numbers - he asked for mine first - but I haven't heard from him yet. Should I be worried? During the time we were talking, his childhood best friend, who I don't even know, made mention of how his friend really like me.

This may seem like a weird question, but when a guy asks a female for her number, how long should she wait for him to call? Or should I wait a couple of days and call him? I really like this guy and would appreciate your honest opinion. Thanks! :)

why is everything always so complicated with women.. this is the kind of behavior that makes men think we are all crazy.. If you want to talk to him, call him. It's no big deal. Don't make a mountain out of a molehill. You have his # just like he has yours. So why does he have to be the one to make the 1st call..

I would wait about a week and then call (hope for voice mail) and casually leave a message. If he picks up tell him you were just calling to say "HI" and that you enjoyed the conversation last week. He may be waiting for you while you are waiting for him...someone has to give in to get this thing started. There's also the possibility that he lost your number in which case he will be glad that you did call. If you leave a msg and don't get a call back...no big thing..there will always be another.

Hi
Some guys don't realize that women need to know that a phone call is important. General rule of thumb is within 5 days from asking for the phone number. If it is past that give him a call, he may have wrote down your number wrong or lost it. What is it going to hurt to call him, better make the step that to be waiting in limbo.

It's only Monday. He might subscribe to the whole "wait 4 days before you call her" crowd. If he doesn't call you by Thursday give him a call and keep it short. He may have even lost it. Hey, it happens.

Me and my best friend always believed that you/him should wait at least 3 days for the calls. You don't want to come across desperate do you?

Call him and ask him what he plans to do. Let him know that you plan to move on if he is not interested. Now the ball is in his court!
