Before entering the house of the Lord?

I have my hair styled every week just for church. I feel really good about myself. What about the others who have shabby hair. Shouldn't they make the same effort that I do?

Some of the skanks show up at my church looking like their hair was cut by a Flowbee.

Maybe they cannot afford to have their hair professionally styled every week. I doubt if the Lord cares if their hair is not professionally styled. How can you INSIST someone have their hair styled? Suppose someone told you the dress you are wearing is ugly and don't wear it. How would you feel?

The Lord is more interested that THEY and everyone else, showed up at church. If you want to pay for the ladies to have their hair styled, I'm sure the Lord would not mind you doing so.

Honey, you know the Lord does not care about foolishness like that! You don't speak for the Lord, I think he has that covered. Please let the Lord continue to do his business, and you, mind yours.

God says to come as you are. Maybe they don't have the money to get their hair done. So why don't you act like the child of God you are and sow a seed into someone's life.Treat them to a day at the salon! It is OK to look nice when you go into the house of the Lord, but don't look down upon those who may not look the way you think they should. You have no idea what they may be going through...

No, Because God loves everybody, Maybe they do not have money to get their hair done every week. Maybe they are making an effort. I'm glad you feel good about yourself, It's not what's on the outside that counts, it's what is inside, You should know that. Just worry about yourself, I'm sure God is just glad they go to church!

They should make an effort to be clean and presentable, but should not be expected to have their hair done each week just because you do. Maybe they can't afford to do that each week. If a woman who's better off financially than you decided to buy an expensive new dress each week for church services, should you be expected to "make the same effort that she does"?

I am not God's spokesperson, but I have a feeling that the very fact that the ladies care enough to attend church and worship Him may mean more to Him then if each hair is in place. JMO - you need to get a grip AND a life, lady, and let others live theirs without looking down your snooty nose at them.
Nobody is any better than anyone else, perfectly coiffed or not.

NOOOOO!!!!! THAT is exactly the reason i do not go to a church. not that i have poor hygene but when i went to a church, i went to worship the Lord, not to put on a fashion show. i am so sick of others JUDGING ppls appearances at a church. you should be happy that you have a growing congregation instead of looking down your nose at others. if you choose to do your hair and such then more power to you. remember it was also the pple on the streets that followed Jesus, did he tell them get their hair done before listening to his wisdom?? COME ON STOP BEING SO SHALLOW!!!! You do as you please but leave others alone, didn't it occure to you that maybe they just got off of work dog tired but still made the effort to drive to church!!! and then you want them professionally done??? ARE YOU GONNA PAY THE BILL???

The women should all wear veils in church, so no one even sees their hair style. The men will not be distracted by looking at the womens hair, the women can concentrate on their prayers without looking at the other women's hair styles, if all the woman wore veils. Further, some people think that some of the chemicals used in hairstyling are not healthy, and should only be used to a minimal extent, if at all.

Being superficial and shallow isn't what you're there for... now is it? NO! Who cares! Hating people because there hair is a bit messed up, or *maybe* they were born that way... is sickening and wrong. You, are sickening are wrong. It doesn't matter, and the answer is....! No!!!! I don't think that the Lord cares about how great your hair looks.
