I have three boys and one daughter and they all have children and I think they could have all did better than they have but they all are doing what they want and are hard working and they love their children. So, it often turns out that what a parent hopes for isn't really the best thing for their children. And as after as regrets, only that times passes to quickly while you are raising your children and I wish I had those years to live over with them.

You know what I love about being a parent; each of my children are different from each other. I have always loved being a parent, all stages from infant to teenager, to young adult. I was the over protective parent, making them call me and letting me know where they were, they had a curfew and they knew that I was understanding but they needed to communicate. Kept them busy in sports, was involved at all levels from pre-school to high school. This way I knew the administration and they knew that I would find out if they did anything out of line.
With that said, I trusted them, gave them enough rope to swing or hang and they had moments of when I would have to be the parent and reprimand them, but I did it knowing that would keep them in line.
So, to answer your question, I am really happy my children have been good citizens with a strong character. The only regret I have is that I didn't have more children!

My children turned out better than I ever expected. They both have good jobs. Both went to college. Both are good people. Both responsible. The only regret I would have is I yelled a lot. I stopped when they were about 11 and 14. I wish I would of stopped sooner.

I adore my daughter! She's 16 and I've never had a bad day with her. She's more than I could ever have wished. If I could have more children just like her, I would!
Regrets? No way! The word 'regret' isn't in my vocabulary. Everything is a learning experience.

There are always regrets and always wondering if we could have done something different or better.
Out of 3 - one is in trouble but does have a good heart and a good brain, just stupid behavior.
Other 2 are doing great - 19,23,&24. Parents cannot always praise themselves or blame themselves for every thing. The freedom of choice that indiviuals have accounts for a lot.

Well my daughter is smart and successful, and she is still going to college and working, but I wish now she wouldn't be so damn money hungry and materialistic.
My son on the other hand can't seem to find his own path yet,he is jumping around from job to job and hasn't completed his college studies and i don't think has any plans to .
My only regret is that I wish my children had a different mother ..ha ha

For the most part, yes. I'm very proud of my sons. Regrets? I wish I could have been home more. But I had to work.

I regret that I married my ex. I could have handled my children better on my own.
