She prob doesn't realize that her bragging is hurting you. Tell her "great, i understand you can go shopping and buy things all the time but i am not allowed that liberty and I'd appreciate it if you would keep your shopping extravaganzas to yourself"

I can't stand people like that, I just want to slap them! I mean if her family can afford to give her money for shopping then that's nice but she doesn't need to brag about it! She probably doesn't have a job so tell her to get off her asss and work. The sad thing about people like that is they're never going to know how to support themselves because they are constantly handed everything, so once they get a taste of the real world they won't be able to handle it. I work for pretty much everything I have, and I like it, it makes me appreciate the things I have more.

1. Dump her. It's clear that she does not bring the best out in you. She's not the only game in town.
2. Shopping may be her hobby, but she is unaware of how her showcasing of clothes is over the top.
3. Point is: you can't really tell her without it sounding like you are jealous, or envious. The minute you have said anything about her behavior, your friendship will be forever changed. She, being hurt, may tell others you are jealous of her. Keep it to yourself. Let someone else be her learning experience.
4. Just begin gradually to be unavailable and wean her from the friendship. You're not enjoying her company, so why carry on the charade? Doing so slowly is letting her down gently, without a hurtful scene. Be polite and kind.
Good luck and warm regards.

Well, if she's really hurting your feelings, go ahead and say it. Don't be too harsh. Just tell her not to be rude and brag all the time about being rich. Remind her that a lot of people aren't as rich as her and her family are, and to just lay off if that's all she does is brag.

So her Mom pays her to go away for awhile? How sad for her, and the bragging may show that she knows it. If you are her friend, you will understand this, but it doesn't mean you have to put up with it. Be nice, tell her the bragging is bothering you, and you wish she would tone it down, you are happy for her spending ability, but you have other uses for your money.
And do not tell her, but you can smile, because you have a Mom who cares enough about you not to give you money so you will go away.

She obviously craves attention and by bragging she thinks she gets it. Either ignore her, or tell her that you feel sorry for her that bragging is the only way she can get attention. She doesn't seem like a very good friend, I would rethink the entire friendship, I hate to say.

If it hurts your feelings, let her know. Just make sure you let her know in a way that doesn't hurt her feelings. I'm sure she doesn't know she's being braggy. She's just used to a lifestyle where she gets everything she wants. However, if she is bragging and purposely trying to make you feel inferior, maybe the two of you have more to talk about.

Try to change the subject whenever she starts bragging and if she's smart, she'll figure out your intention.
In my experience, people who brag tend to be insecure and attnetion-seekers. If she still doesn't get your hint, do evaluate if the friendship is worth keeping and take it from there.
Good luck

Let her brag. She's the one making a fool of herself. Don't envy her. I suggest you find a better friend to hang around with it.

Bragging, in my opinion, is not only rude but also extremely annoying. You have every right to tell her exactly that.
