Going 50km/h, crashed into the back of a stationary car. I was the passenger, so I took the force of the impact across the seatbelt.
Now my chest really hurts & I'm wondering if my sternum could be fractured...

Yes, it is going to hurt but how bad the injury is requires a Doctor's opinion. I took a couple of bad hits from the seat belt and once from an air bag, that really hurt, but not as much as what could've happened. Glad you are OK, but do get checked, especially if breathing is difficult. Peace.

I was in a car accident - a 1977 Lincoln ran a red light and hit my 2 door ford escort - my car and I lost. Anyways, my sternum kinda popped every time I had a coughing fit or sneezing fit for years. (about 3) It is fine now - I hope yours is not fractured!

Go see a doctor-if you have a chiropracot they can help you also. Get it checked ASAP! The car insurance will pay for it-they HAVE TO BY LAW.

common and it will hurt for awhile. get checked out and take it easy. seatbelts do hurt and even if it wasn't a serious accident it can feel just as bad. take care hon!
