it seems to me that after a long period of time, people abandon certian religions. i think they are ways for people to explain things they cant without science.

As science debunks religious mythology, people create new ones.

There's no way of knowing the answer to your question unless you ask every single person living on earth right now!!In any case, all the major religions should still be around for a long long time, though they will definitely not exist in the same way as it is now.Humans evolve as do religions.Religions after all is a part of the human culture.When we change our thinking, our behaviours, our way of doing things, religions will also have to adapt.
Regardless of whether religions will be around or not, the world will be a better place to live in when everyone shows care, concern and respect for each other regardless of nationality, race, language, culture, ideology and..... religion.

Christians and Muslims will have blown the whole world up with their "my God is better than your God" dogma in 200- years. So no. The only thing that will still be around will be nuclear waste and cockroaches.

judism is still around, hinduism is still around, depending on any number of factors, if humanity is still around, Christianity will also, but it might just be a cult in the backroom of a house, persecuted as they persacute other religions now.
