what good would he do?

"Give to him who begs from you, and do not refuse him who would borrow from you"Jesus favors more government handouts for welfare cheats.

"Judge not, that you be not judged"Jesus is soft on crime

"Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's"Jesus will raise your taxes.

"Do not resist one who is evil. But if anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other"Can we trust Jesus to fight the War on Terror?

Jesus- Wrong on social services Wrong on crime Wrong on defense Wrong for America

first of all the 1st quote means to help those who need it ,not necessarily money, you assume it to be money, what about with finding a job, finding clothes, raising money for charity, financial aid, donating a kidney /liver,helping a mother who cant concieve ect..and" do not refuse him who would borrow from you"do you know that not only citizens and other foriegn countrys borrow money , our GOVERNMENT does too.bonds, IRA bonds, many more they don't just give either honey . so your telling me you are so sufficient that you will never get help with anything you can do all you want ???
"Judge not, that you be not judged"we have no right to judge pple because we arent perfect beings, to the extent we judge it will be judged on us
"Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's" we pay taxes to help others and we get part of them back, how else can our country that has such a great deficit pay for anything. if they depend on us how many of us do you think would really help? would you?
"Do not resist one who is evil. But if anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other" If someone hurts me, ill let him hurt me again b/c no matter what he does i will still remain
JESUS is not wrong and never will he be. He said his pple perish for a lack of knowledge and that you show plainly.

That is why Jesus is God, not president...
If we all do what Jesus said.. there will not be wars..
How can we believe 'an eye for an eye", and expect world peace.
Has the War against Terror did any good so far??? More killings of both sides of the war.
Muslim and Christian.. Are we not worshipping the same God? Jehovah? Why do we let our believes harm our bros and sis and lead to more killing..
Aren't we suppose to obey..'thou shalt not kill'
Analyse.. and meditate

The world would be perfect. Thats why he's not president. But no doubt, the world would have what its always been fighting for: World Peace. Jesus was kicked out of America (schools and public libraries). Jesus is GOD, he, and HIM only can be the JUDGE, he's telling US not to judge because we don't know EVERYTHING, he does. He's the astute of words, actions and everything else. Obviously YOU need JESUS.

Jesus is a king in heaven, He said his kingdom was no part of the world. Why would he was to be a president on earth? He will do far more good ruling from heaven when the appointed time arrives for the earth to be cleared of wickedness. He is also going to destroy all the governments on earth.

interesting yet pitiful, your handful of quotes is meager and no representative of Christ's message. and this is coming from an agnostic who hardly cares. Jesus would be a super sweet foreign diplomat, I mean comon free wine. But seriously, he lived in a different time were people with disabilities were drowned and anyone not of a specific religion was harrased into conformity. I hope you were just joking, and why would you ever seriously hypothesize what would jesus do.

What I'd like to know is why people believe that all republicans are God-fearing infallible people and why other people believe democrats are terrible people who are amoral and have no values. There is little black and white subjects in this world why do people think that politics would even be close to disambiguous.

God is not a democrat or a republican, remember that when you go to bash people based pure on if they are considered to be democrats or republicans.

My guess is that Jesus would be able to communicate to the American people like no politician could.

He might even be able to *gasp* unite America and the world.

You are totally out of context. Wish you all the best and I hope to see you when Jesus does rule on Earth.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it modern day man creating and fighting these wars, not Jesus? America...pro war, pro losing family and friends for stupid causes like oil, pro hatred and pro death. God Bless America who feels it needs to butt its nose into everyone else's affairs.
