it's because you are still very young. usually age matters so much when you are below 20. but when you get to 20 and above, you will notice that you won't mind anymore if your partner is older than you by 10 years.

don't rush. it's good that you are still close to each other. when you two mature enough maybe you can drop the issue with age and go on again with just being a happy couple.

Until then, focus on studies so you can give a good future to your partner and family.

Well i know i'd love to be friends with some of my exs , so good for you. But if you still have the feelings that made you date him they won't be going away just because you've decided the age difference is too great. And chances are one of you will get hurt or you'll not really have a good relationship as friends. You may even get confused later on with the whole "are we dating or are we friends ?" bit .

If you both are legal, it sounds like there is more to it than just age. It's great you are friends, unless you are hung up on him and feel you can't move on because the emotion for him is too strong. If that is the case, then try to get back together or maybe you need a little distance. As long as the friendship is working though, keep it going as it is.

As long as you 2 are happy being friends, thats all that matters. If you both have feelings for each other still then maybe try and work past the age barrier. If you cant work past the age thing then just be satisfied that your still friends.

Hey, Yo.... this problem isn't really a problem. You have time. As you get older and have more experience dating, you may find that he is still The One. If so, you can always let him know. Once you are older (and, hopefully, wiser), the age thing won't matter nearly as much.

Be patient. Enjoy your freedom while you have it. Learn all you can about your own likes and dislikes and you do both of you a favour. Hugs, Kiddo!! It's ALL good!!

As long as you are both of legal age, it's only an issue if you allow it to be...however if one or the other of you wasn't comfortable dating someone of a vastly different age then be the friends you are....

...who knows what may happen down the road? If you only broke it off due to age, there's no reason not to be friends...no reason for animosity...

When it comes to love age dosent matter. As long as your not 12 and hes 35. Cuz thats just gross! I would be happy that you 2 are still friends and maybe later on you will hook up again when you both mature some more.

yes, i'd feel happy. however if your emotions get in the way, then maybe yu should be more than friends. You both need to figure what you really want. Age shouldn't matter when it comes to romance and feelings.

It shouldn't matter about your age. What matter's is that you were in love with him and had a wonderful relationship. You'll get back together, just give it sometime. Good Luck and I hope you can work it out..
