i can tell you from years of experience. If a dog was born to be an alpha, they will either be an alpha or they will always want to be an alpha. This, regardless of what training you give them, will always be the case. You can try remote training but that is a temporary fix. If two dogs want the alpha position, regardless of how much you try, when you are not looking, they will fight or test their status. There will be people telling you this is not the case. From years of experience with various types of dogs, big and small, mean and aggressive and passive and kind. If two dogs were ment to be alphas, they will fight. when this happens, if you can, quickly get a hose and soak both of them instantly. Also, with a strong and firm voice, yell out whatever command you have that represents the word "NO". Whether it be "Nein", "No", "er", etc. The point is to show that you will not tolerate fighting in YOUR pack. YOU ARE ALPHA. MAKE THEM UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT THIS.
So they won't get jealous, play with one at a time while the other is locked up or out of sight. I have 4 dogs, all dominant dogs, and I know they all like my attention. I give it to them one at a time while the others are locked up. Also, i don't give them the attention when they want to be petted. Only when I want to pet them. this helps identify you as the alpha member. Collars will work but again, when you are not looking or when you are not around, they will go at it. This is a fact of nature. Regardless of what training you give them, they will go at it. Just, always be aware of what is going on with them. Thats the best advice i can give you. Sorry it isn't more helpful.
well, actually, now that i noticed what i wrote, a dog should never be trying for the ALPHA role in your pack. They would probably be trying for the Beta seeing as how YOU are supposed to be alpha.

Odd to have 2 Alpha dogs...usually only one rises to the top and stays there! As for your problem, play with only one in the room at a time and avoid the fighting and jealousy. I'm not sure you have 2 alpha dogs, but you do have 2 dogs who love you, and are jealous of time spent with the other dog! Good luck!

cesar milan fomr the TV show the Dog Whisperer would probably tell you t that you have to be the pack leader and right now you;re not. That;s why the dogs are fighting for dominance over each other and over you. i;m sure he has a book out by now

electic dog collars work for aggresion believe it or not... when they realize they get a little jolt from growling and being aggressive it should make them stop.. eventually you get a collar that is heavy and seems like they have it on they wont bother they will think the collar is on and hopefully it will end at that. good luck
