i usually make 10-11 minute miles when i run at school. I want to get a sub 7 by the end of the year (under 7 minute over 6 minute mile)

any tips?

Practice the same route every day for a month. Just do it every single day - the same location - 1 mile. Run heal to toe...heal to toe...heal to toe. Practice every day for 1 month, and I guarantee your time will decrease significantly.

Try and run sprints. This will help you build your cardio vascular system. Run up some hills too to build muscles. Eat healthy to build a strong body. GOod luck!

you just have to build stamina and try to get better everytime you run. but remember, in the beginning it will hurt, but then you'll get used to it and you won't mind the pain that much. i think if you are dedicated and determined, you will be able to do it.

just run a little bit every day or every couple days and you'll get faster most likely.=)
