if a person was shot in the side of the chest towards the lungs and punctured one of the lungs and in the leg, what would the damage be like?

ok, there are two bullets.
And no, i'm not some sick person. It's for a story. I guess then it's still kind of sick, isn't it. But it's not a story anyone's gonna read, so i guess it's a question like a tree falling in the woods about the rightness of the question. Anyway, there are two bullets. I have no idea what gun, what gun would be able to do that and it breaks the tibia or fiblua, i'm not sure which right now. one bullet would lodge in a lung. The other would escape. Enough information?

The lung hit by the projectile would be severly damaged, most likely collapse, and start to bleed internally. Without stopping, the bleeding would eventually fill the lung and affect breathing through the "good" lung. Without treatment, this injury alone would probably be fatal. The projectile in the leg could be serious or not, depending on whether the femoral artery was breached or not - if yes, death would probably occur in 1-2 minutes due to blood loss. If the artery was missed and the femur wasn't broken, the leg wound may not be fatal.

The one way that would happen is if the bullet entered on the side meaning that it would move from the lung, through the stomach and into the leg logging itself in their or existing through there. Let just simplifly the whole matter and say he would be dead for the damage to matter
