hold on Amy!
we as Christians understand that we have and are doing wrong, that is the reason we ask Jesus for forgiveness. Some Christians do put people down and that is very wrong to for a true Christian believes that only God is the judge.
So as far as if Christians were to find out that Jesus was coming back tomorrow, "like there could be some way of knowing" I would assume that there would be more repentence and prayers from humble knees. Yes. I would also like to think that others would see them as doing the right thing and following and being converted but I know you would dissagree with me.
Perhaps you did not know but the basis of true Christian doctrine is that everyone is a sinner and is imperfect and all you have to do to be saved is repent that you are a sinner and try to live you life the best you can by God's Laws and the laws of the land. You are tested by faith and perhaps by faith alone. That is what one of the old theologans Martin Luther Said. Don't hate, ivestigate that is what I say...

I can speak for myself i know i would for a fact be on my kness asking for forgiveness as I am every night but at the same time i would be happy b/c i would finally be with the father forever...i say sometimes when i pray GOD when i get before you ,i will probably poop on myself lol.. I know i am not perfect and can never be on my own accord, so how is it possible for me to judge or put anyone else down. Thats not my job nor business. i pray and ask for forgiveness every day b/c everyday i sin everyone will fall short of the glory of GOD no one is perfect. I can't and will not judge you , your opinions are yours and mine are mine ya know ~~

Your statement ,sadly, comes across harsh and cold. Someone must have hurt you badly. No one will get the opportunity to beg for forgiveness when Jesus comes back. No one will found out or know when Jesus returns. Jesus ,himself, do not know. God mercies are new every morning and he has given us all the opportunity Now to repent and ask for forgiveness. The fact that some Christians acknowledge their sins in God's eyes is great within itself and that unbelievers knowingly sin and don't care to live for GOD is a tragedy.

First define the word Christian.
If Christian is used to mean a "born again from above believer", then they would be rejoicing in Jesus's return. Revelations 22:20
(last prayer in Bible) believers pray: Rev 22:20 - Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
We await our Lord's return-not fear it.
However non-believers, hypocrites, double minded people
(James 1:8) would have reason to fear and tremble.
Christian does not mean person is always a true believer. USA is a Christian Country but attend Church on Sat or Sun. Prob 10% of Americans attend Church regularly.
Actually Christianity is a relationship more than a religion.
Its Christ reaching down for us and us reaching out to Christ.
Thus a true believer in Christ would be praying Rev 22:20 COME QUICKLY LORD-COME QUICK!

we all should ask for forgiveness because all have sinned and fallen short of His glory. I know some Christians put people down for doing the wrong thing even though they may not be living right themselves and that makes other Christians, that are living a holy and God acceptable life look bad. He is coming soon...

You do not know what you are talking about. We Christians are already forgiven through Christ. What you are thinking of is repentance (telling God we're sorry for sinning against Him)...two separate things. The fact remains that He has already forgiven a believer. Learn the religion first before you try and slam it. Otherwise you'll look stupid trying to talk about something you don't understand, especially on the concept of forgiveness of sins through Jesus.

We have been justified(declared not guilty) because our Lord took the punishment we deserve for our sinfulness and accredited us with His righteousness. We have already been forgiven, and look forward to His return with great longing.
Of course we still sin in this life, but we look to Him for daily forgiveness and receive it, and the Holy Spirit works in us to empower us to sin less. Those who have truly received this amazing gift do not use the grace of God to excuse an habitual and sustained lifestyle of sinning.

You are right honey but you have to stop and think, since it has been said that he is comming again soon for over 2000 years now, people are getting to lazy in their beliefs to really be the christain they claim they are but if we keep prayed up and have up to date victory in our own hearts , we can only answer for ourselves come that day. but we need to REALLY show our love for the brethern and our neighbor because NO ONE KNOWS THE HOUR OR THE DAY and it could happen today instead of tomorrow so we'd better ALL make things right towards GOD and man kind.

Its the non christians that should be more afraid of Jesus coming back. Not the Christians themself. Christians themselves know they are already saved! If they are true christians they will not put other's down.

Why did you write, "If the Christians", are you implying that you are not christian? If you are not of that faith, then why does it concern you about what they may or may not do?
If you claim to be of that faith, are you living it as Christ called you and all Christians to do? LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS I HAVE LOVED YOU!
Do not judge, lest you be judged by the same measure that you judge others! For give us our trespassses as we forgive those who trespas against us!
