Do what Jesus would do. In Matthew 5:38-39, 43-44 Jesus said "Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for and eye, and a tooth for a tooth, but I say unto you, that ye resist not evil, but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. Ye have heard that it hath been said, thou shalt love thy neighbour and hate thine enemy, but I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you." God bless you my friend. Have a great day and remember Jesus loves you.

I can understand that many Christian faiths with their zealot approaches turn people off. I do understand that, as a Christian, I have even experienced it!
I feel this way, if you are interested in any thing about Christianity, I am happy to explain or share what I know. But if you have been exposed to it, and reject it, I am okay with that. Then you had the same opportunity to believe that others have and made your choice. I know I can't drag you kicking and screaming to God.
I enjoy reasonable dialog about it, learning why people such as yourself dislike it, or what experiences you have had that turned you away. It helps me learn to be better at sharing my faith in a more pleasing way.
This forum lends itself to bashing, and I am guilty of that as well, since we do not have any accountability, nor even the chance for a snappy comeback....we just ask and get answers--some nice, some not so much.

Simple. I just try to answer your question reasonably. Reasoning is one of the most important parts of the Christian faith. It is a shame that so many Christians believe reasoning to be an evil thing that gets in the way of faith.
I also hope that the answers of those who shout they ignore you or speak of you being condemned to Hell do not further damage your view of Christians. Unfortunately, the more outrageous and infamous Christians seem to be the ones who have given Christianity it's bad reputation. I hope you are able to find that not all Christians are as atrocious and hypocritical as certain ones can be. : )

Since Christian no longer exclusively refers to people who live by the teachings of Christ, it' not hard to bash them. True Christians need to come up with a new name, to separate them from the murderers, pedophiles, racists, and all the others who think them are still Christian, despite their actions.

There are many ways to respond. The toughest and most sincere way to deal with it is to react with love. Because only through love do the unsaved become saved. Christians should be passionate about Jesus and their beliefs, but we should not be passionately hateful just because people try to arouse divisions. Asking what would Jesus do is a very good way to determine how you should react. I hope that his love would be fully understood in your life.

Does not bother me. I don't make it a habit of bashing others for what opinions they may hold, that is the right of everyone to believe whichever way they wish.

I would think anyone who bashes another religion (like you) has too much time on their hands and nothing better to do honestly. As for religion goes, you believe what you believe and I'll believe whatever I want.
