If trying to find an alternative for banana in banana bread, try making zucchini bread instead. Mmmm. Very delicious. Just as good or better than banana bread.

i also am allergic to bananas, not many are. stay away from kiwi too. its also a cousin to the banana. banana and strawberry is what a kiwi is. did you all know that? as far as subsitutes; try banana baby food

depends on the type of recipe...you have to substitute based on consistency, length of cooking time, etc... If you want to post what recipes your thinking about I would be happy to go more in depth...I am a culinary student so I could probably find a good bit of info for you...
