If you go to a bad place to do it, meaning non-professional, your skin can burn. Either than that, none, I have been doing it for 1 year and I am almost done!!

My sister & I both had Laser Treatment removal.
You can get a slight redness right after on the treatment area. Not a big deal.
You can smell some burned hair.
My sisters got little tiny blisters in the treatment area.
I did not. Very little or no pain.
I had no pain. & of course a lot less hair! & you must shave only between treatments. Good Luck to You!

You need to avoid suntanning in between the three treatments. If your skin gets dark from tanning it might burn on the next treatment. After you have finished the cycle of three treatments there are no restrictions and no side effects.

Gillette is working with Palomar to develop a home version to replace the razor in people's homes with a laser appliance. It won't be as strong so it might need reusing every month or so but it beats shaving everyday.
