they fly so frequently in small aircraft. do they fear flying like me?

The only one I know for certain is John Madden. He refuses to fly and hasn't flown for decades because of his fear. Back in the 1980s, he bought a Greyhound bus (Senicruiser model) and converted it into his own private vehicle that he would take from game to game. It was called the "Maddencruiser." He still does it to this very day, although his bus is much newer. :)

I have heard a lot of them are afraid to fly. Don't be afraid to fly it can happen quicker in a car than in an airplane. I fly all the time or every chance I get. A car trip is too long and it is very aggravating if you are traveling a lot of miles.People drive so reckless you are better off flying , not a lot of traffic up there just clouds.

It all depends on the celebrity. Tom Cruise is definatley not afraid of flying. Just look at his roll in the movie Top Gun. Obviously he wasn't really flying the F-14 Tomcats but he actually did take rides in them. On the other hand i have heard of many celebrities being afraid of the concept of flight.

Bill Gates himself is afraid to fly, but having a private jet although small in comparison is much more luxurious than commercial air travel, even first class. Imagine, you arrive, board, they close the door, start the engines and go. You can have that too for $3000/hr operational cost.

Its easyer to have or hire your own aircraft. You can fly from airport a to b wenewer you want. Add the fact that you dont get harassed from fans and so on and you know why most of the people that can afford it choose to by their own aircraft in stead of flying regular airliners. Of corse some one flys regular to but then they dont fly tourist class, they choice buisness or first that is much more expensive! Johan

Some people are afraid of flying celebrities or not
and I am one of them I get afraid when the plane takes off I feel like screaming.

I bet it depends on the celebrity. I bet some don't like it and others don't really think twice about it. I'm guessing they are paying big bucks for good pilots and mechanics so that they reduce their chances of getting in crashes. They are still less likely to get in an accident in a small plane than in a car...

Most people are afraid to fly until they try it. One or two flights and your an old trooper at it. It's easier to be killed while riding in a car.

some may have a slight fear. but i'm sure they have no choice but to get over it.
