Many, many times over. It was the first thing I learned to read at age three. Mom started me on the Story of Ruth and it remains my favorite to this day.

Some years ago, a program came out called Read Through The Bible. They had little check off boxes for each day and all. My mother challenged me to do it. I did, and have ever since. Most of the time I read through 2 times a year.
Some tips:
a) It takes 7 chapters a day to read through the Bible in 1 year.
b) The easiest way is to read 1 Psalm plus the other 6 chapters.
c) It is helpful if you do not try to read front to back. Deadly that.
Try reading 1 OT then 1 NT book. You'll run out of NT, but you'll be on a roll by then.
I hope you try this. I already know you will enjoy it.

Yes. If you read 1 chapter a day (5-7 minutes) you can read the whole bible cover to cover in under 3 years. There was a famous preacher ( HMS Richards) who would read it entirely in January then again from February to December. But he could read on the job. A missionary by the name of JN Andrews memorized the entire new testament around 1900.

I have read the bible. The OT prophetic books were difficult to grasp for me at the time though. So, I don't really understand some of them. If I read something again I usually learn more truth from it. I continue learning from the bible.

"When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property." Exodus 21:20-21
"The glory of Israel will fly away like a bird, for your children will die at birth or perish in the womb or never even be conceived. Even if your children do survive to grow up, I will take them from you. It will be a terrible day when I turn away and leave you alone. I will love them no more because all their leaders are rebels. But now Israel will bring out her children to be slaughtered." O LORD, what should I request for your people? I will ask for wombs that don't give birth and breasts that give no milk. And if they give birth, I will slaughter their beloved children." Hosea 9:11-16

I read the entire Bible in less than a year. By following a certain schedule, it can be read in one year to the day. I read ahead of the schedule.

My husband and I are just 16 days shy of reading the entire Bible. What a blessing it is! We plan to read it over and over and over ... It has already enriched our lives and understanding of God. His Word is amazing!

Yes, I have. I did a study that had you go through it in a year when I was a teen. Also, when I was little (five, six, seven), my father had me read a passage aloud from the Bible every night to better my reading skills.
