Talk all you want... there's not enough of an emission from a cell phone to hurt you.

I worked with a guy, who's brother was employed by a major cell phone maker (can't say who - don't want to get sued), in 1996, to research this very problem.

His research was inconclusive, whether cell phone radiation had any affect on the user. I think in the end, long term it might have - but bear in mind that was 1996 technology. Todays phones are way better.

But I heard a rumour that bloetooth headsets DO cause more problems than a regular phone.

Radiation is everywhere. The deal is it has no power behind it so it can't penetrate your skin. Its the same with cell phones, landlines, walkie talkies. The problem is the word radiation. People associate it with a bomb when in reality it occurs in nature all the time but since the skin cells are constantly shedding and reproducing it doesn't have any long term effect.

Right we are not sure how harmful cell phone radiation is, but some studies point to it having some detrimental effects. Using a corded earpiece is supposed to help. If you live near a tower you could build a faraday cage, but those take some effort.

I didn't know cell phones gave off radiation. That's news to me. Although, so does peanut butter. Go figure!
