If diplomacy and sanctions fail, Israel, the US and its allies will likely intervene before Iran acquires a nuclear bomb. That time may be soon.

If sand turns to glass at high heat and we nuke the entire region, wouldn't that be a pretty backdrop for an awesome themepark?! We could call it Bush Gardens. Serve alcohol for free and pretty strippers and buffed out male dancers can dance to Steppenwolf's "Magic Carpet Ride." We'll have a ride called the "GreenZone" instead of DropZone and laser tag will have the optional suicide (laser) bomber vest. The best view of the new Trump Taj Mahal will be from the "It's a Small World" boat ride.
Just kidding. Seriously, though it's no worse than the fairy tales they're telling us now - from BOTH sides.

Hopefully the United States intervenes before it ever happens. I would guess if that doesn't happen and Iran does build a nuclear weapon, that it will most likely result in something similar to the cold war between us and the former USSR.
As I said though, hopefully we move in before they can get that far. Good question!

Their nuclear program will never get that far. If the UN doesn't force them to stop enriching uranium expect a few Israeli owned cruise missles, launched from Israeli subs, to knock out the labs dealing with Iran's nuclear program.

Gene B, aiming missiles at Mecca will only encourage them. They want war.
As for the question. carpet bomb, and bunker buster bomb the location of the Iranian weapon. If nessasary Nuke it.
They don't let crazy people carry guns, why let them carry nukes?

Iran's fanatic leader has already declared his intentions and his statements are acts of war. Anything the US does would be an act of self defense.

I hope we never let them get them get that far into developing nuclear weapons. I think the prudent thing would be to open a big can of whoop-*** on them, and eliminate the problem.

Israel won't let that happen. If worst comes to worst, then Israel will handle the problem. Though they do have a safeguard, since they control one of Islam's holiest sites they probably won't get nuked. They still won't let Iran get one though.
P.S. Their missles suck, so they would have to work through a terrorist group to get to us.
