Is it true their is a torture strategy where a soldier takes a CO2 bb gun and shoots a terrorist with ball bearings until they start giving out useful information?

How about wehere they begin using a high torque drill - drilling 1 millimeter holes - 5 inches deep into their skulls/brains until either we get information or the terrorist passes away?

I heard something about flushing Korans down toilets????
Isn't a Koran too big for that?

I also heard rumors US soldier force terrorists to play "musical chairs", and the guy who is left standing gets shot in the head.

Fair question with all the Abu-Gharaib rumor going around and here's the true scoop from a US Army 97E (interrogator); Absolutely, positively, under no circumstance do any US military interrogators use any torture tactics in any way, shape or form.

Look for the Abu-Gharaib report on-line which has the reports of several US Army Generals. It details what happened, and truth be told, Abu Gharaib was a very unique circumstance in which there were many private contractors (linguists and OGA (other government agency)) folks involved. The regular US Army MPs and others (not military interrogators) did some stupid things thinking it was OK, not having as much law of land warfare training and Geneva Conventions as interrogators.
To add to speculation, at least a few prisoners were brought in with battle wounds and later died. It was assumed by some they were tortured to death. At least a few private contractors, working under the auspices of the CIA, have been indicted, and the Army culprits of stupidity have met military justice for their abuses.
The truth about the Quran flushings in Gitmo were, in-fact, that some Muslims themselves were flushing it for two (alleged) reasons; #1. they were trying to stop up the toilets just to be a nuisance and, #2. they did not believe they had been issued properly printed Qurans. You have to realize, about 65% (depending on exact locale) of Muslim men from Arab/Muslim lands are illiterate, and when handed a Quran and offered ample time to pick it apart, many find out the Mullahs they so trusted LIED, LIED, LIED to them. They learn either that, or believe that America the Great Satan printed up bad copies...
There are rumors I won't talk about here of SEALs and others like Jonathan "Jack" Keith Idema getting rough when doing tactical questioning of folks. I'm not there and didn't see it, so can't comment, but I'm quite sure America has set a precedent for punishing law of land warfare and Geneva Convention violators.
The drill and musical chairs comments seem a bit absurd. What's your source for that mis-information? You have to understand that there's a lot of people that aren't very happy with US foreign policy right now, and many have proven that they'll say anything to make the US look bad. Don't believe everything you read or hear.

Well if they are terrorist the what ever the torture is it's not enough. How about you go ask the survivors or the families left behind on 9/11.

You are kidding right! That would be the terrorist that have been going through Iraq, using drills before shooting victims in head.
Stay away from movies for a while.
I love my scriptures, the Bible, but it is hardly torture to destroy a book. It is a printed copy & does not change the scriptures.

First, ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Where did you hear this crap? John Kerry?

Second the whole Koran incident was perpetrated by one of the prisoners NOT a guard. The prisoners have been doing some very nice things to our military guards ie. throwing feces, urine, semen at/on them, just to name a few. Again, this is the prisoners doing this to the guards.

No. Nothing physical, anyway. Most Americans, even soldiers, are too softhearted for that. Now, there's nothing wrong with a good mind fu ck... an flushing the Quaran could be done in pieces...

Well, for the terrorists who are Muslim, we can threaten to shoot them with a bullet dipped in pork. Since they believe that God cast the devil into a pig, they would fear that having contact with such a thing would prevent them from entereing heaven.

They probably drug them, since that works a little better than blowing their brains out. Korans down the toilet is another way to get into their mind by showing them the ultimate disrespect. We want them to feel the mental pressure, since it is illegal to do physical things and also doesn't work as well. These guys are willing to kill themselves for their beliefs, so they already don't care about their physical well-being.

Who knows, but Bush just got it handed to him by the US Senate! Now he is claiming he has stopped a lot of attacks on the US because of his terrorist tactics! What a damn liar!
