When they are talking with you and start cursing, stop taking part in the conversation. Don't be drastic; simply look down and do not look at them in the eye again. Slowly turn your head away and then look up again and off into the distance. Wait until they ask you what's up. Let them know they were swearing again.
Tell them first this is what you will do to help them stop - it won't work unless they know you are doing this to help them. That way, when it happens, they will eventually learn that if they want to be listened to they will have to communicate in a certain manner, which in this case does not include swearing. They will appreciate your quiet, patient method instead of saying 'You're doing it again!' every time. Be patient; it will work.
Good luck

Good for you!! I hate when people talk to me and they just let curse words come out like they are found in the dictionary or something...oohh I hate that..yet it is impossible to ignore, and it grates on my nerves... but they probably won't stop only because it'd just the way they talk, so they don't think about it, unfortunately..good luck

Tell them it makes them appear uneducated. Educated people have a larger and more varied vocabulary so they don't have to curse except in extreme cases when it is called for.

Keep pointing it out to them when they do it so they know you are paying attention and therefore drawing their attention to it as well.
You can also make it fun by making a contest of it by teling them you will count the number of times they use bad words each day.

You can't get someone to stop cursing, you can only get them to try to stop.

Tell them it's disrespectful and why you do not like it. And if they continue to do it around you, that you just won't be around.

they will have to quit on their own. If they were raised around and it was part of everyday life it's gonna be hard to stop
Good Luck
