Ok here is a completly Hypothetical situation. My husband has a Daughter that is Not related to me. We have three boys together. The Daughter has sisters from her mother and another man. If my son and one of those girls were to get married and have kids would the Daughter be a double aunt? Would the children from my son and the Children from the Daughter be double cousins?

They would not be blood related, but that is a wierd situation. The daughter is only 1/2 sister to both the boys and the girls in each family. She shares the dad with the brothers and the mom of the sisters. So I guess she would be a 1/2 aunt.
:) I don't know. :)

well your boys and her girls aren't even related...i don't think there is such a thing as double cousins or double aunt...if their married its only to one...confusing things like that are just left unsaid in a family...unless someone asks...don't make it a big deal if it doesn't have to be

Well I don't believe so they are not blood related. My family has a similiar situation and I consider everyone related to me but thats more emotional than legal I think.

Through marriage, yes. Through blood, no. So, technically, it wouldn't be any form of incest or anything.
