i really dont think so, as there are ALOT of people out there who have no desire for a cellphone or really dont need one.. there are people who actually spend more time in their homes then outside... a cellphone is lovely to have, but there's nothing like relaxing (in my bed preferrably) talking on a phone that has really clear quality.. cellphones (to me) all have some type of static going on...

No- it is best to keep a land line in the event of really bad weather. Use the kind of phone that doesn't require a batter to work. (Just speaking from experience, as I currently live in Florida.)

Maybe if they were more reliable, some villages and large towns still refuse to let cell phone towers in despite the effort to make them look like trees and other natural plants.

Eventually. But the billing will have to change so that people don't have to pay for minutes, just a flat rate. So, it is well in the future.

no, but VoIP an SIP really have a good chance, I dont have a land line..I use Broadband, SIP and a cell phone and computer softfone/w/web cam...
