I know its early but weve been dating for a year, any suggestions?

You can get her a gift certificate to her favorite store, maybe take a weekend and do something just the 2 of you, if she likes jewerly get her a ring, watch, or necklace or something like that.

Wow, I am impressed. My boyfriend of 5 years waits until the last minute, I swear every year. If it has been a year then you know her pretty well by now so that is a plus. You know what she likes and dislikes.
Be creative, give her an iPod loaded with her favorite band or if she likes to write a new journal that you had personalized. Stuff that will show you put some thought into it.
I know you don't want to do it, but you can always ask a girl's mom what she wants, trust me they always know. And the old fallback, JEWELRY!

Well, beign a girl, I think I can answer this accurately enough. Something meaningful to the two of you! Generic presents that you could buy for a girl friend or your grandma just aren't good. It's always best to think of an inside joke or something that has happened between the two of you.....and then turn it into a romantic gift idea. It might take a lot of thinking and planning but it'll be worth it when you see her smile!

Try her favorite fragances and the lotions that go with it or a small dooney & burke purse, or a massage & spa treatment would be real nice. Just depends how much you want to spend, you could also learn how to give the massage and get a room light some candles and play some soft music, if you're old enough for that.

A gift box with tons boxes with in boxes and boxes , and boxes all rapped up wiith nothing in them until the last box and you put in the last box something specail for her. It could be her fav perfume or a ring to get married.
You could also ingore any of the above and put in a fav
CD that she likes . How about some bootleged tracks of here fav
CD. Search her fave CD tracks and check out what bootleg CDS exist of her fav music.

first how old are you? if you are under 25 dont think about marriage. dont get her a ring, wait two years.think about geting her a pet maybe, a cat or a puppy, that will be so sweet. or what about a bird, maybe a necklace, what about a mini shopping spree? well good luck and whatever you get her i'm sure she will love it.

Try tellin her that you have a friend.That is tryin to find out what his girl wants for xmas.And he needs a womans in put.....That way she'll tell you what she thinks a woman wants,and most likely it'll be something that she likes....And write it down an take it from there.....Goodluck
