So let me get this straight....... The extemists in the islam religion are offended by what the pope has said...... They think he has said that Islam is a violent religion that is spread by the sword. So they protest by burning buildings, killing nuns, burning figures of the pope, threaten him and all the west and this proves their point how???? If you ask me they are horribly tainting their religion and if they looked at their history of killing innocent people or taxing them if they don't convert maybe they would agree with the pope.

The Islamic leadership is proving to the world they're fanatical and ungodly in thier actions. First, their over-reaction to a political cartoon. They are constantly over-reacting to any criticism especially to authors.
When the pope made his speach calling it a sin to become violent in the name of religion he is right. What do the muslims do? They prove the pope correct in his historical description of Islam converting through violence by attacking churches, killing a nun, DEMANDING an apology and when the pope apologizes they reject it. THIS IS GODLY? No mercy shown by Islamic leaders, judging falsely the context of what the pope was saying, and justifying their murderous/destructive violence in the name of ISLAM.

Yeah your right. Even though I'm a Muslim, I am very distraught by their actions. The moderate Muslim MUST be more outspoken now and get down to meet the masses and fix this problem.
The extremist has been good at brainwashing it's followers. So I think it's time for the moderate Muslim to say enough is enough. Al-Qaeda and the like must be eradicated from the face of the earth.

I see it they are basicly like a 2 yr old that doesn't get it's way accept they go to extremes.
I say we need to put a head tax on them and see how they like it then trash the genevea convention then maybe when they have nothing to protect the cowards they might shut up

In my opinion the world leaders are turning a blind eye with Islamic extremists, and by doing that it allows the Islamic religion to grow in strength and harder to fight.
