well if u want it to be stick straight or after hair straightener straight then u'll be disapointed. but if ur excepting to undo some curls and create less waves then this is the shampoo for u, it smells pretty good too

Sunsilk is a great brand, but the shampoo and conditioner need to be used in conjunction with ironing in order to make your hair completely straight. So to answer your question, they do not work alone.
