Love should be blind to all things including the color of skin. If someone can find love with someone of another race then pick happiness over misery.
I would much rather be with someone of another race that makes me happy than someone of my own race that makes me miserable (that works within my race too).

I agree with it. Having dated women from all backgrounds, races, religions etc. I've found that it's given me a much better understanding of women and the human race as a whole. I think bigots and racists are missing out.
We all came from the same cells or Maker - we all bleed the same. Someday we'll all look beyond color, religion, race, and even sexual preference. But that might not happen for a 1,000 years.
So I agree with it.

There are a lot of bigots in this world. That's why we have wars. People are prejudiced over race, religion, etc. Personally, I think who a person is on the inside is much more important than what they look like on the outside. Don't date someone of a different race for the wrong reasons (to shock your parents or friends). Date them because you like them. Love should be blind to race.

There is no such thing as "race". Skin color is as inconsequential as eye color, hair color, height, weight, etc.
Everyone is different. Why refuse to date someone just because their skin is lighter or darker than yours?
And as for the guy above me and his "God made people different colors for a reason" statement, I'm not sure what religion he is, but the Apostle Paul said that as far as God is concerned, a Christian woman could marry anyone that she likes as long as he is a Christian too (I Cor. 7:39); and Paul seems to condemn the myth of racism also (Gal. 3:26-29). So I do not know of any religion that believes that inter-racial dating is a sin.

Some people are dead set against it. It's a sensitive topic for most people. Me personally, I have nothing against interracial dating. If you're in love with someone, the color of their skin shouldn't matter. I honestly have never been in a interracial relationship before, but it wasn't because I didn't want to be. I really liked this black guy named Bobby once who was in wrestling. He was FINE. But, he wanted this other girl instead. She wasn't white-her mother was white and her father was black. So this girl was mulatto. But she was very pretty. So, after that, I never tried to date anyone outside my race. It wasn't meant to be. OK. So, there's my little story. Please give me my ten points...that Bobby guy broke my heart.....=(

Get ready to deal with society if you do it. And be tough and keep a sense of humor. The love of my life was black, I am white. I lived in Harlem and he lived in the village. We couldn't get served at soul food restaurants in Harlem Sylvia's' actually. We sat there for twenty minutes at a table without menus for Sunday Brunch until Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton walked in and embraced my guy and began to shoot the breeze. Jessie in front of me asked if he had got me from down south and to be careful. We got service and I was mad about the comments. We traveled to DC where the cops followed us around and then to Arkansas where people on a street corner yelled "You can't do that in Arkansas" Other white women tried to pick him up in front of me and a gay man once said "Heres your bill its for you if you didn't have the money she wouldn't be here." He got a 10% tip and was lucky to get that. He has passed away and the years have gone by. I have the respect of my family and friends. My children are beautiful, I agree with interracial dating and encourage everyone to find love for and with each other. Male/female, male/male, female/female, black, white, red, or brown.

Is this the 60's,70's, or 80's. Of course people agree with it unless you live in Hicktown, Jerkwater, USA. And even if you do, who the hell cares. Interracial dating is beautiful so just do it already and don't worry about what everybody thinks.

Honestly, I think , at this moments, only Americans can think of people in racist terms, ah , also the very fanatic Muslims, not Muslims, but the fanatic ones.
In all the rest of the world is very very chic to date someone from a different background, God bless America? just grow up USA, for heaven sake.

My b/f diagree's w/it. But I don't b/c people are all the same even when they are different colors. It's like an apple and an orange. The same kind of fruit. Just different colors. Plus, we are all equal, you find love in different forms and if it's real, keep it. You can't find it anymore these days.

Yes, I do!! Right now I like a guy who is Asian, and he's really sweet and nice. I don't like him for the color of his skin, I like him for who he is as a person. Yes, God made different races, but he made different races so we can learn from them and be more tolerant of them. Why would we want everyone to be exactly the same? Why would we want everyone to be the same color, the same height, have the same look? I wouldn't want that, that would be very boring.
