I've had long hair ever since 6th grade and im sick of it. i miss the days in elementary school when i had a buzz cut. girls like my hair long but it's only when it's at the perfect length, which is sometimes hard to manage. i've decided that i want to keep it short for a little while (through baseball season), but not like a buzz cut. i cant just go into my cheap haircut place and say cut off 4 inches, but then how the hell do i make my hair shorter to stay short without making it WAY short?

Just tell the hairdresser what your needs are. He/she can cut it so it's not long but it's not a buzz cut. I still can't help but love spikey hair. I know it's so 90's but I like it. You could just try having 1-2 inch length locks for awhile. If you hair is long enough, you should donate it to Locks of Love.

Hair grows at the rate of ~1/2 an inch a month. Determine how long you want to wait between haircuts and then tell them how much you want taken off based upon that formula. For instance, if you don't want to get a haircut for 6 months, then you'll want 3 inches taken off. At the end of the 6 months your hair will be at approximately the same length it is today. Otherwise you could join the rest of us that go in for a haircut every 4 weeks.

It's all merely a matter of personal preference. I have short hair and guys such as it. And i prefer a person with short hair over a man with long hair because long tresses tends to make guys look also girly.

Ask for the typical "bowl" cut, but not so drastic looking...more so it's very gradual from the long hair to short.
Or...I did this one to my brother, he looked amazing. He had shaved the back, lower half of his head and his hair was long. Well the shaven part grew out to about a 1/2" and then I just cut the rest of his hair so it was about an inch below his ears. His hair was curly though so it didn't even need layers. If yours is it'll work too.

i could recommend to decide for a medium-ish prefer to no longer long and to no longer short. Have your hair like curl prove or curl around your ears. in case you go with for this look then heres a tip. To get you hair to show out on the ends then after a tub you are able to desire to positioned on a hat. haha.it works on my brother. considering you stated your latino, a glance that i prefer to recommend is Diego Luna, from grimy Dancing 2.

Okay buddy, you are making this way too complicated for yourself. Go to Supercut and tell the lady how much your hair needs to be cut. End of the story. Your hair will grow back. Do not fuss over it-

Go regularly say about every 2-3 weeks to maintain your haircut after getting it done the 1st time.

KEEP IT LONGER!!!!!! just short enough to be out of your way.
You are more likely to get a supermodel girlfriend if your hair is long and u have a bad boy look haha.

Go FAUX HAWK! Its short, but fashion forward. Don't think Mr-T, but urban white guy. The hawk is subtle, but very stylish. You can wear it to work, with a tie, to the nightclub, to a funeral, and even your favorite concert (rap to country) and still be respected!
